Global Art Photography shows the portfolio of Timo Weber, a freelance photographer-artist based in Berlin, Germany.
Timo was born in Germany and studied engineering physics before taking up photography. His work often has a narrative content and is increasingly influenced by film and cinema. When he is not working on editorial and advertising commissions, Timo travels widely, working on personal photographic projects. Recent projects have taken him all around the world and back to Germany. He is a freelance photographer-artist specialized in portraiture, fashion and conceptual photography and keen to discover new ways of representing identities through photography. He does commercial work as well as ART. His main passion lies in capturing disappearing ancient cultures and the human condition in unique, challenging situations. His range of subjects is fairly broad, but whether he is photographing favelas in Brazil, life in the last traditional villages of Eastern Europe or copper miners in Bolivia, his common aim is always the same – to capture the human element and display typical culture facets.
This website should provide a good general idea of what he does. Enjoy!
